School Council is a democratic forum for pupils
to share ideas and make decisions which will
benefit the school as a whole. It enables pupils
voices to be heard, promotes active citizenship
and is a link between pupils in classes and the
school staff.
School Council meets on a regular basis and is
co-ordinated by Mrs Kania. Each class from Y1
to Y6 elects two pupils to represent them.
These pupils are elected on a yearly basis.
In addition, two pupils from Year 6 are selected
to represent our school at network meetings
with other schools in the Huntingdon area.
These two pupils also provide a link with the
children in our Foundation classes.
We have an annual budget to spend on projects
which we feel will benefit the rest of the school.
